A landing page in India can cost 5,000 rupees or 150,000 rupees, and both prices can be reasonable. The range is useless without knowing what sits inside it.
What each band actually buys
Five to fifteen thousand rupees buys a template with your logo and text dropped in. You get a page. You do not get anyone thinking about whether it converts, and the copy will be whatever you supply.
Fifteen to forty thousand buys a page designed for your offer, usually with the copy written for you rather than by you. This is the first band where conversion is somebody’s job.
Forty thousand to a lakh buys research, copy, design, mobile optimisation and the connected plumbing: form handling, thank-you page, tracking, follow-up. My own starter build sits at ₹35,000 and includes the landing and thank-you pages plus basic CRM connection.
Above a lakh you are usually paying for a multi-page funnel rather than a landing page, or for a niche where one customer is worth a great deal.
The four things that move the price
- Copy. Research and writing for a specific buyer is the expensive part, and the part that decides whether the page works at all.
- Number of pages. A lead magnet needs two. A webinar funnel needs five. Same builder, several times the work.
- Integrations. Payment gateway, CRM, WhatsApp, email. Each connection is real work and each one breaks differently.
- Whether anyone is accountable for the result after launch.
The thing that decides conversion, and it is not the design
It is the match between the traffic and the promise. A beautiful page shown to the wrong people converts at nothing. A plain page that says exactly what the visitor was already thinking converts fine.
This is why I will not quote a landing page without knowing where the traffic is coming from. The same offer needs a different page for cold Meta traffic than for people arriving from a Google search, because the two audiences are at different stages of wanting it.
What is usually not included
Domain and hosting, roughly 1,000 to 8,000 rupees a year, and it should be on your account. Page builder subscription if one is used. Payment gateway fees, around 2 percent plus GST on each transaction with Razorpay or Cashfree. Stock images or photography.
How to judge a quote
Ask three questions. Who writes the copy? What happens after someone submits the form? And who owns the page, the domain and the data when we stop working together?
The third question catches more bad arrangements than the first two. A page built inside an agency’s own account is convenient right up until you want to leave.
The cheapest sensible starting point
A two-page funnel with follow-up automation, around ₹35,000, plus two weeks of ad spend to find out whether the offer works before you scale it. That order matters. Build small, test with real money, and let the revenue fund the bigger version.
